Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.”John 7:37-38 AMPC

Without relationship we can’t be a blessing to others. This is a twofold working of the Holy Spirit in our lives.  The Spirit of God within blesses us individually. But the Spirit of God flowing through us blesses others. And we are to be a blessing because we’re already blessed. God Almighty has already blessed us.

May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!” Ephesians 1:3 AMPC

But our purpose on earth is to be a blessing to the world just like God Almighty called Abraham to be a blessing.

And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].” Genesis 12:2 AMPC

But the only way we can be a blessing is by magnifying our relationship with Jesus Christ and allow Jesus the baptizer of The Holy Spirit to rebaptize us. This baptism is what is called the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Also without us being hungry and thirsty to be with Jesus Christ, we will never experience this rebaptism.

If we really want to feel fulfilled as believers in Christ and also want to be a blessing, we must be thirsty and hungry to be with Jesus Christ our Lord always.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Help me by your Spirit to be a blessing as I magnify my relationship with God Almighty in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen
