Intimacy with Jesus Christ is seeking the God who sought after you due to the fact that you are in love with Him. This is not just seeking Him for what He gives to us, but seeking for who He is.

Jesus Christ came on earth looking for God’s lost sheep to save them for love sake. We must do the same through the power of the Holy Spirit in love for Jesus Christ.

So I decided to go out into the city, into the streets and broad ways [which are so confusing to a country girl], and seek him whom my soul loves. I sought him, but I could not find him. The watchmen who go about the city found me, to whom I said, Have you seen him whom my soul loves? I had gone but a little way past them when I found him whom my soul loves. I held him and would not let him go until I had brought him into my mother’s house, and into the chamber of her who conceived me. [Rom. 8:35; I Pet. 2:25.] I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or by the hinds of the field that you stir not up nor awaken love until it pleases.” Song of Solomon 3:2-5 AMP

It’s time to return back to our first love in Christ Jesus.
