Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me.” John 15:4 AMP

In intimacy, as we abide in Christ Jesus, we are nourished by the working of the Spirit of Christ in us. This nourishment is what strengthens us and gives us the ability to move on when we’re feeling weak.

Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, I am strong [a warrior]! [Isa. 2:4; Mic. 4:3.]” Joel 3:10 AMP

The word of God says “let the weak say, I am strong.”

Because it is in the abiding in the word that we receive strength, God’s word was given to us because of our weaknesses, so that it will become our strength. Not that we are strong in ourselves, but in Him we are strong due to the nourishment we receive by abiding in Jesus Christ.

One of the ways this is accomplish is through prayer.

It’s time to get intimate with Jesus Christ in prayer. Please read Ephesians 3:14-16.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Draw me into prayer by Your Spirit in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen
