Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] [Josh. 1:5.] So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? [Ps. 27:1;118:6.]”Hebrews 13:5-6 AMP

God Almighty wants us to hold fast to the profession of our faith instead of holding fast to our challenges and dwell in them. Now what is in your heart and mind that’s what will be expressed by our mouth? So it’s time to stick to God’s confession over lives, irrespective of what the enemy is trying to do. It is what God says over our lives that has the final authority

God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 AMP

We should trust God for who He is and what He says and start holding fast to His sayings. That’s one of the ways in which our tongue become disciplined by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Help me by Your Spirit to hold fast to the confession of my faith in Christ. In Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
