He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Matthew 10:37-39 KJV
Jesus Christ our Lord gave His 100% to God Almighty to walk in power.
For us as God’s people to walk in God’s power and overcome the wicked one (satan) in the world we must learn to give our 100% to God Almighty. This is the how of experiencing the fullness of God’s grace at work in our life.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelation 12:11 KJV
The key of the above text is that their lives did not count, but the assignment they had to accomplish in the kingdom of God Almighty.
For us to experience the effectiveness of God’s grace at work in our lifes, we must choose to go out for our Lord Jesus Christ 100% without holding back anything. When you give your all, you will receive His all.
That’s why our Lord Jesus said “… take up your cross and follow me”. And He also said: “He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Matthew 10:39 KJV
