But Saul increased all the more in strength, and continued to confound and put to confusion the Jews who lived in Damascus by comparing and examining evidence and proving that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah).” Acts 9:22 AMP

Most of the time many are weak and have no passion to do what God expects from them due to the fact that they spend time watching movies, reading circular literature books or gossiping or are too busy with their circular job.

Whenever we substitute having fellowship with God’s Word, by studying it and preaching the Word to those who have heard of Jesus Christ or by not having fellowship with our brethren, we will always feel weak.

The Bible says “. . . Paul increase all the more in strength.” For preaching the Word of God or having fellowship with God’s Word to others. That’s why we are all encouraged to go to God’s house to be empowered. Don’t give excuses by saying: “well I don’t need to do that because I watch preaching on TV in my house on Sunday.”

It is good that you do all that, but when you’re having some issues it is not the televangelist who will come to your house to help you. That is why we all need a local church to fellowship. A place where we can be fed and strengthened when we’re having a moment of weakness by God’s Word and our fellow brethren.

And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25 AMP

Receive God’s strength today as you have fellowship with His Word.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Give me strength to go on as I study Your Word in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
