Yet for love’s sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ. I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds: For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever; If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself. If he hathwronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account. “ Philemon 1:9-10, 15, 17-18 KJV

Here is the story of a young man work in God’s house and end up stealing from the church coffers. He left the church after his action and went back to the world. Paul, God’s servant found him and won him back for Christ. Then sent him back to the people he offended and urged them to forgive and accept him. And grant him a second chance. (Read Philemon 1:1-25)

Today is a new day. There’s no need for bearing grudge with the people who have offended you. Release them from your heart so that you also will be released fully to do what God is called you to do. Remember how daily you make mistakes, but God’s mercy still enables you to press forward in Jesus name.

For love sake, that is the love which Jesus Christ our Lord demonstrated to us and the world, by paying the price for us to live. Today forgive your enemies and start interceding for them. If you do this with you heart, I declare in Jesus name a sudden turnaround in your life. And God Almighty will fight for you.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” Matthew 5:44 KJV

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father,
Forgive me for harboring unforgiveness against (mention the name of the person). I let go today and pray that you touch their life as you’ve touched mine in Jesus name. Amen
