-Food for thought day 63-

• Psalms 27:13-14

It’s never a wrong thing to wait. As a matter of fact, waiting is a sign we believe something good is coming out from something ugly.

The Bible says: “[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living! Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.”

When we wait on God, we position ourselves for a miracle and we also believe God will show us His goodness and mercy in what we are waiting for.

Anything God has promised us, He will surely make it come to pass. Our duty is to wait and expect Him to perform according to His Word. We should understand that waiting doesn’t mean “do nothing”, but it means that we should keep acting on God’s Word and do things we are supposed to do in our daily living.

For example, you need a job; but while you’re waiting on God for your dream job, God expects you to go out and look for a job. That is the proactiveness of the process which many refuse to undertake, but expect to get results.

As a matter of fact, waiting on God means, being proactive in doing what we’re supposed to do while expecting Him to manifest His goodness and mercy in our circumstances.

Today, choose to be proactive and refuse to be passive while waiting on God to show His goodness and mercy on our behalf in Jesus’ Name.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name!

Think and act!!!
