-Food for thought day 61-

• 1 John 5:4
• Philippians 4:6

Many of times when we are faced with unexpected circumstances in our lives, there is a strong tendency to dance to the music of the situation; forgetting who we are in Christ.

The Bible says: “For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.”
‭‭
God wants us to stay in the faith. I mean keep holding on to the finish work of Christ, even when we don’t feel like it. We must hold fast to God’s Word and stand in our rights in Christ, irrespective of the present circumstances. It’s our faith in God’s Word and taking the offensive position in the situation that will bring about a change.

We are winners; and irrespective of the circumstances we should never forget who we are.

The king of the Netherlands doesn’t change from being a king due to challenges. He stays the king and confront the situation to bring about a change. We must learn not to change our attitude irrespective of our circumstances and take our stand in God.

We must take our place in God and deal with the situation accordingly in Jesus’ Name.

We don’t need to fret, but confront the circumstances.

Remember, overcomers are people that have overcome something. So everytime we are confronted with situations, it’s an opportunity for us to let the devil know what we are made up of.

Today, take the offensive, surely you will testify in Jesus’ Name.

Fight back!!!! Quitters never win, but winners always win as long as they know how to maintain their posture in the midst of adversity.

“Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.”
‭‭
Many blessings in Jesus’ Name
