Our bodies are not like a marketplace where people come and shop. In other words, we must view our bodies as God’s House and treat it with respect. How we handle our bodies is very important to God.

Jesus Christ was angry that God’s House, which was supposed to be a place of prayer was turned into a marketplace.

The Word of God says: “And Jesus went into the temple (whole temple enclosure) and drove out all who bought and sold in the sacred place, and He turned over the four-footed tables of the money changers and the chairs of those who sold doves. He said to them, The Scripture says, My house shall be called a house of prayer; but you have made it a den of robbers.”

When we learn to train our bodies to pray, we will be setting ourselves up to work the works of God.

The reason why we don’t see the hand of God at work in our lives for miracles: Lack of dedicating our bodies unto the Lord and living a consecrated life (prayer and fasting).

The Word of God says: “Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you; but I will instruct you in the good and right way.”
‭‭
The reason why the temple became a marketplace was due to sin. Prayerlessness gives birth to sin, but a prayerful person prepares his or her body to be used for blessing others or working miracles.

After Jesus cleansed the temple, The Word of God says: “And the blind and the lame came to Him in the porches and courts of the temple, and He cured them.”
‭‭
It’s time for us to prepare our temples for The Father’s use and refuse to use it as a marketplace.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
