Bible Study Plan 2019
Today we read:
-Food for thought day 337-
• 1 Corinthians 1:2
• 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
• 2 Peter 3:9
• Ephesians 4:32
• Romans 5:8
We are accepted by God through Jesus Christ; not by what we did, but what Jesus has done. That is why we must love all men because Christ died for all not some.
To: The Christians in Corinth, invited by God to be his people and made acceptable to him by Christ Jesus. And to: All Christians everywhere-whoever calls upon the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and theirs.
1 Corinthians 1:2 TLB
The reason why many are still not saved is because they are ignorant of God’s way of salvation or are blinded by the god of this world system.
If the Good News we preach is hidden to anyone, it is hidden from the one who is on the road to eternal death. Satan, who is the god of this evil world, has made him blind, unable to see the glorious light of the Gospel that is shining upon him or to understand the amazing message we preach about the glory of Christ, who is God.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 TLB
Now that your eyes are open because you’re in Christ, you should keep praying for the lost out of love knowing it’s God’s will that they should not perish.
He isn’t really being slow about his promised return, even though it sometimes seems that way. But he is waiting, for the good reason that he is not willing that any should perish, and he is giving more time for sinners to repent.
2 Peter 3:9 TLB
It’s important that you know that praying for people without compassion leads to nothing. That is why Jesus said: “Love as I have loved you.”
“And become useful and helpful and kind to one another, tenderhearted (compassionate, understanding, loving-hearted), forgiving one another [readily and freely], as God in Christ forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32 AMPC
The question is: “How did He love you?”
Answer: “But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.”
Romans 5:8 AMPC
Remember: loving people has nothing to do with your self-effort but with God’s.
Continue to love!
Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
Think and act!!!!!!
