Today we read:
Isaiah 24-25

-Food for thought day 255-

•‭‭ 2 Timothy‬ ‭1:7‬
• ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:5
• John 15:4-7

We have the Spirit of Love in us, in the Person of the Holy Spirit.

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The only way we can experience the Love of God flowing through us is when we yield to the Spirit of Love in our hearts.

“Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

We can not produce love without yielding to the Holy Spirit. It’s the same as a branch that can’t bear fruit unless it’s connected to the vine. Love is a fruit carried by the branch as it stays connected to the vine.

That’s is why God’s Word says: “Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned. If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.”

We must learn to always abide in Him so that His Love can flow through us.

Remember: without abiding in Christ, there will be no flow of God’s Love.

Keep the flow by abiding in Him.
