The Word of God says: “Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”

Love is a fruit that can be seen by our works or character. The same way we can know if a tree is doing well, from the fruits it produces is the same way people can notice us when we’re walking in God’s Love.

The Word of God admonishes us not to love in words and in tongue, but in deeds. In other words, our love for people should be expressed in our deeds.

“But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have a need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:17-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Love is an active word and not a passive word. That’s why it must be backed up by action.

It’s about time we stop professing our love for people and start expressing it through our deeds.

Remember: our faith in God works by love expressed in deeds.
