Today we read:
Hosea 1-3

Love is patient for a purpose; every promise given to us by God needs two ingredients for us to inherit it.

The Word of God says: “In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭AMPC.

Love is fuel for our faith, for the Bible says: “For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Therefore without love, we can’t function in God’s Faith. Furthermore Love is patient; that means without being patient while working in love, we will not inherit the promises God has for us.

This is the reason why we must always walk in love, irrespective of how people treat us or circumstances that come against us.

It’s in our reliance on God and consistently being patient in the process of time that we see the manifestation of the promises so that we can obtain our inheritances in this life.

Remember: love is always patient.
