Bible Study Plan 2019

Today we read:
2 Samuel 18-22

-Food for thought day 165-

• Acts 5:1-11
• John 6:1-14

Love is not greedy; the solution for greed is giving. However you can’t give cheerfully, just the way God wants it when you are not ruled by the Love of God.

A great example is Ananias and Sapphira, who allowed greed to dominate their lives and end up losing their lives, including what they were withholding from God (Acts 5:1-11). We should be careful not to allow greed to deny us access to our inheritance in Christ due to the lack of God’s Love.

The love for the Kingdom will always cause you to willingly give, even if it was your last dime (Luke 21:1-4).

Another great example is the boy that offers his two fishes and five loaves of bread because the people were starving. Instead of him being greedy to keep it for himself, he gave it to God and it was multiplied. He was moved by love and as a result of that, he received more than what he gave(John 6:1-14).

Greed blinds you not the see the greater things God has for you, but God’s Love opens you up to access these things and also ushers you to the revelation of God’s superabundance.

We are the harvest of Jesus Christ because God gave His only Son out of Love for the world.

There is nobody that will give out of love that will not be rewarded. Therefore, we should never allow the spirit of greed to take the place of God’s overflowing Love in our lives (Ephesians 6:8).

The solution for greed is to give; the best time to give your best is when you don’t really want to do it or when you’re running out of resources (1 Kings 17:10-16)

Remember: Love is the destroyer of greed, for Love is a giver.

Deal with the spirit of greed and allow God’s Love to rule over you!!!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.

Think and Act!!!!
