Bible Study Plan 2019

Today we read:
1 Samuel 20-21

-Food for thought day 147-

• Luke 19:10
• John 3:16

The Love of God must go ahead of all things we do, if we must help our generation from the bondage of corruption and one another in like faith.

Jesus Christ did not come to correct the world, but to seek and save that which was lost.

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

He came to deliver the fallen man from his spiritual death condition, not to correct the condition. He came to give mankind a brand new life and not to correct or fix the old condition.

He could not accomplish this, without the Spirit of Love dominating Him. So Love went ahead of Him first before the new nature came. We must practice the same if we must help people out of their condition.

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

It was the Love of God that came first before deliverance and it’s not the other way around. We must follow the steps of Jesus Christ to have the same results.

Maybe the reason why you have been having little or no results in what you do is, because God’s Love does not go ahead in the things you do. You have allowed selfishness or self righteousness to dominate.

Remember, love works no ill to its neighbor.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name!
