Many look at people that have chosen to walk in God’s love at all cost, and call them fools. Well, I have good news for you. Serving God looks foolish; so does preaching the Gospel. But! In it is light that gives peace to the restless soul. The reason for light is to expel darkness, this can only happen by confrontation.

The Love of God (Jesus Christ), came to confront wickedness and evil in this world and ended up overcoming it through the power of Holy Spirit.

Moreover, the Word of God says: “In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].”

“There it was–the true Light [was then] coming into the world [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] that illumines every person. [Isa. 49:6.]”

That means the true Light of the Gospel shines through us for the purpose of expelling darkness around us as we walk in love.

The reason why the world sees God’s love as foolishness is because they’re in darkness. It is impossible for someone in the dark to see without light.

This is THE reason why we are the light of the world.

Walking in God’s Love causes His light in you to shine.

Without us in this world, there will be total darkness.

This is the purpose for which you did not automatically ascend into heaven when you got born again. You are in this world to be God’s light.
