-Food for thought day 130-

• 1 Timothy 4:15-16

The Word of God must first make an impact on your life and then in the life of others. That is a great key in walking and living in the anointing of God’s love.

“Do not neglect the gift which is in you, [that special inward endowment] which was directly imparted to you [by the Holy Spirit] by prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands upon you [at your ordination]. Practice and cultivate and meditate upon these duties; throw yourself wholly into them [as your ministry], so that your progress may be evident to everybody. Look well to yourself [to your own personality] and to [your] teaching; persevere in these things [hold to them], for by so doing you will save both yourself and those who hear you.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4:14-16‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Paul admonished Timothy to look out for himself first and then for others. When God’s word of love takes preeminence and dominance over your life, it will cause people to experience the same thing around you. The Word of God is there to change you first so that your life will be a living witness or testimony to others.

Therefore, you must stay obedient to God’s Word for your own benefit and then for the benefit of them you minister to.

Remember, walking in love makes you fulfilled and places you always in the position of ministering effectively to others. That is why you should never stop practicing it.

Walking in God’s love is fulfilling the law.

May the anointing of God’s love keep dominating you by causing you to always practice the Love of God to others.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
