Bible Study Plan 2020

Today we read:
Romans 16
1 Corinthians 1-4

-Food for thought 2020 Day 5-

• 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬
• Romans 12:1-2

The carnal mind is an enemy to the things of God (Romans 8:6). We are here to be conformed to the image of Christ, not to the god of this world system (Romans 8:29); this can only happen as you daily choose to fellowship with God above the pleasures of this world.

“And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever-increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

That is why the next thing that happens after presenting your body as a living sacrifice unto the Lord and renewing your mind with God’s Word, is knowing the wills of God for your life.

“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭MSG‬‬

“I APPEAL to you, therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well-pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

God wants to lead you by His Spirit into all truth as you continually yield yourself to His Spirit in Jesus’ Name.

Remember: knowing God’s will in our lives has to do with us constantly offering ourselves to Him.

Be an offering to Christ!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name!

Think and Act!!!!!
