Philemon 1

Scripture of meditation:
• Proverbs 20:27

It’s important that you become conscious of the new man in Christ, for you to be led by the Spirit.

The Word of God says:

When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun!
2 Corinthians 5:17 TLB

This brand new person that is born again is a spirit. God is a Spirit; that’s why He gave birth to His likeness, a spirit.

The Word of God says:

“What is born of [from] the flesh is flesh [of the physical is physical]; and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

God Almighty will only relate to your new nature in Christ and through it He will guide you.

“The spirit of man [that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God] is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts. [I Cor. 2:11.]”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭20:27‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

That is why you must be conscious of your new nature in Christ more than your soul and body because God will guide you through your spirit.

For this reason, we worship God with our spirit and not with our flesh.

For it isn’t the cutting of our bodies that makes us children of God; it is worshiping him with our spirits. That is the only true “circumcision.” We Christians glory in what Christ Jesus has done for us and realize that we are helpless to save ourselves.
Philippians 3:3 TLB

“For we [Christians] are the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit and by the Spirit of God and exult and glory and pride ourselves in Jesus Christ, and put no confidence or dependence [on what we are] in the flesh and on outward privileges and physical advantages and external appearances–”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s expedient to know your spirit man.

Remember: because you’re spiritual, God will guide you through your spirit.

Be spirit conscious!
