Scripture of meditation:
‭‭• 2 Chronicles‬ ‭24:20‬

“And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the Lord, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the Lord, he hath also forsaken you.”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭24:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The will of God is to promote all; though not all will be qualified for promotion based on their choices. There are certain things that are blockers for God’s promotion for our lives. One of those things is sin.

From our text of meditation, we can see that the people did not prosper or make progress because of sin. It’s very expedient that we examine our actions and motives if we want to see promotion in our lives. God delights in showing *Himself* strong in our lives as we learn to set our hearts towards Him and refuse to transgress against Him.

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭16:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

For this reason, we should not permit sin in our lives!

Remember: sin is a blocker of God’s promotion and providence for your life.

I pray that sin shall not have dominion over you in Jesus’ Name.
