” Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death–that is, the devil– And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives”. Hebrews 2:14‭-‬15 AMPC

The blood of Jesus Christ has delivered us from the bondage of sin. His death brought freedom from bondage.

“For sin shall not [any longer] exert dominion over you, since now you are not under Law [as slaves], but under grace [as subjects of God’s favor and mercy]”.                    Romans 6:14 AMPC

The reason why many are still struggling with sin is because they refuse to have communion with the Holy Spirit.  The power of the Holy Spirit keeps us and gives us dominion over sin. Sin is activated by the flesh; that is to say our canal appetite. But life in the Spirit keeps us from the dominion of sin and causes us to rule over the power of sin. When, I say to live by or life in the Spirit, I meant living your life in accordance to Scriptures. The bible says the Spirit and the word agree. We undermine the power of the blood when we don’t heed to the word. The Holy Spirit power is only activated in our lives as we heed to God’s word.

” So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him. But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God]. [Rom. 8:14.] But if Christ lives in you, [then although] your [natural] body is dead by reason of sin and guilt, the spirit is alive because of [the] righteousness [that He imputes to you]”. Romans 8:8‭-‬10 AMPC

This day know sin power is destroyed. Allow God’s grace to work for you and refuse to give room for the flesh.

Let’s pray together:                     Heavenly Father I thank You for Your Word. Thank You for destroying the power of sin over my life and through the Power of the Holy Spirit I live unto righteousness in Jesus name. Amen
