“For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)”.
Romans 5:17 AMPC

Jesus Christ paid the price for us to pray as a priest and rule as a king in this life.

God’s original plan for man was to dominate and subdue all that He trusted the first Adam with(Genesis 1:26-28).
But through man’s rebellion, sin came and the first Adam lost his authority and power to dominate and subdue . That original plan did not Change. Jesus came to bring restoration to God’s original plan to all that will believe in Him.

That is why Christ was made sin for us that we will reign through righteousness.

“For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]”.
2 Corinthians 5:21 AMPC

We are the righteousness of God in Christ. We reign in righteousness. We should not let the devil talk us out of it because of our light affliction or temporary weaknesses in the flesh, on the basis of  who we are in Christ. However, our now position of victory is our righteousness of God in Christ.
That’s why the bible admonished us to focus on the things which are above where we are seated together with Christ in Heavenly places.

The blood of Jesus paid the price for us and His resurrection gave us our now new position in Christ.

Today as the righteousness of God in Christ. Take your stand against the wiles of satan. And give him no room in your life.

Let’s pray together:
Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Thank You for making me righteous with Your righteousness. So this day as the righteousness of God in Christ I declare  by divine virtue of the blood of Jesus Christ that no weapon formed against me shall prosper in Jesus name. Amen
