Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:] Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being. And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!” Philippians 2:5‭-‬8 AMPC

Walking in victory and living a life of obedience to God’s instructions goes together. Jesus could only defeat Satan and his cohorts because He lived an absolute obedient life to God’s instructions. He was under orders and because He followed instructions the Holy Spirit backed every word that He spoke with power.

This is because I have never spoken on My own authority or of My own accord or as self-appointed, but the Father Who sent Me has Himself given Me orders [concerning] what to say and what to tell. [Deut. 18:18, 19.]” John 12:49 AMPC

Today choose to obey God and He will be the strength and voice behind your actions in Jesus name.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. I declare I am an obedient child and the Spirit of obedience in me is helping me to live an obedient life in Jesus name. Amen
