Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come–the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out! Another way in which the devil accuses us is through people. He uses people to remind us of our faults and sometimes our own people of like faith can be used by Satan to put us down. That’s why we must be careful to whom we listen to. When the bible talks of satan walking about looking for someone to destroy. The devil accomplish his walking about through people. That’s why we must learn not accept any council or advice or accusations that is contrary to God’s word for our lives.

Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset–rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world.” 1 Peter 5:8‭-‬9 AMPC

The only truth is God’s word. It doesn’t matter how true an advice or council may sound. As long as it is contrary to the word of God, refuse to agree with it. That is how you resist the devil in the faith and constantly walk in you victory.
