But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. [Heb.12:1-3.]” Isaiah 40:31 AMPC

We also need the wisdom of God in walking in continuous victory. One
of the ways we do this is to take time apart in all our busy schedules
to seek the face of the Lord. This is the time that He refreshing us
and grant us the strength to carry on.

The apostles [sent out as missionaries] came back and gathered together to Jesus, and told Him all that they had done and taught. And He said to them, [As for you] come away by yourselves to a deserted place, and rest a while–for many were [continually] coming and going, and they had not even leisure enough to eat. And they went away in a boat to a solitary place by themselves.” Mark 6:30‭-‬32 AMPC

Whenever we get busy with the work of the Lord or our daily activities
virtues leaves us. That’s why we need time apart with the Lord to
rest in order for us to carry on with our kingdom mandate.

Apostle Paul puts it this way:

… I bow my knees before the Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name]. May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].” Ephesians 3:14‭-‬16 AMPC

It’s time to be refreshed through prayer and fasting for the journey
that lies ahead of you. This is also a great strategy for continuous
victory.

Today give yourself unto prayer alone with God and do nothing. Trust
the Holy Spirit to Help you as you pray in Jesus name.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your Word. Help us by Your Spirit to wait on you through prayer and fasting. Thank You for Your refreshing in Jesus name. Amen.
