And there was a woman there who for eighteen years had had an infirmity caused by a spirit (a demon of sickness). She was bent completely forward and utterly unable to straighten herself up or to look upward. And when Jesus saw her, He called [her to Him] and said to her, Woman, you are released from your infirmity! Then He laid [His] hands on her, and instantly she was made straight, and she recognized and thanked and praised God. But the leader of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, There are six days on which work ought to be done; so come on those days and be cured, and not on the Sabbath day. [Exod. 20:9, 10.] But the Lord replied to him, saying, You playactors (hypocrites)! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or his donkey from the stall and lead it out to water it? And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?” Luke 13:11‭-‬16 AMP

One of satan characteristic is to destroy people’s lives. Jesus Christ
was manifested to destroy the works of satan. That’s is why He was
anointed. The devil is behind all evil happenings in this world. We
must learn to confront satan from the position of victory under the
anointing of God Almighty. Jesus Christ could only destroy the works
of satan because He was anointed.

How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38 AMPC

Now, God expects us to face the devil not in our ability but under the
anointing. This is where prayer steps in. When we pray we spiritually
paralyzed the work of Satan in the lives of men and also in prayer we
become anointed by God’s Spirit to confront the works of darkness.

Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.” John 7:37‭-‬38 AMPC

That is why Jesus spent much of His time apart praying.

And in the morning, long before daylight, He got up and went out to a deserted place, and there He prayed.” Mark 1:35 AMPC

God Almighty is still anointing men and women today who are willing to make time for Him in prayer and fasting for service. It’s the anointing that breaks the yoke in people’s lives. It’s not by might nor by power but by The Spirit Of the Lord.

Today start settings time apart to seek the Lord in prayer.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Help me by your Spirit to always pray in Jesus name. Amen.
