THEN JESUS was led (guided) by the [Holy] Spirit into the wilderness (desert) to be tempted (tested and tried) by the devil. And He went without food for forty days and forty nights, and later He was hungry. [Exod. 34:28; I Kings 19:8.] And the tempter came and said to Him, If You are God’s Son, command these stones to be made [loaves of] bread. But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God. [Deut. 8:3.]” Matthew 4:1‭-‬4 AMPC

God is very willing to preserve us and give victory in every
temptation that come our way. We are not here to face temptation with our strength.

Jesus Christ uses God’s word for Him to experience victory in His
earth walk when He was tempted. God expects us to same

We must learn to apply God’s word when tempted and also yield to it.

For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 AMPC

The way of escape is Jesus Christ and Jesus is the word. Yielding to
the word in time of temptation give us divine escape towards the
victory that is already ours in Jesus name.

Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.” John 14:6 AMPC

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your Word. Thank You for making The Way of escape towards victory in temptation in Jesus name. Amen
