We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair; We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed; Always carrying about in the body the liability and exposure to the same putting to death that the Lord Jesus suffered, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown forth by and in our bodies. For we who live are constantly [experiencing] being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced through our flesh which is liable to death.” 2 Corinthians 4:8‭-‬11 AMPC

Every Child of God go through challenges for the sake of the gospel but how you react towards challenges that’s what makes you or breaks you.

Every circumstance we face in life has an end date and will pass away someday, but God’s word of victory abides for ever. So instead of allowing our feelings, circumstances or human opinion dictates to us we should learn to allow God’s word speak to us.

Apostle Paul as our example went through a lot of persecutions and yet he did not give in. Paul refuse to be frustrated because He knows whom believe.

Do you know whom you believe?

Now we should always know the enemy uses our outward circumstances to distract us from focusing on the victory we already have in Christ.  Apostle Paul knew this. That’s why by the Spirit he said

For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!], Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.” 2 Corinthians 4:17‭-‬18 AMPC

Our victory in Christ is unquestionable and is sure irrespective of what the enemy is trying to do. Refuse to give in and fight back in Jesus name. Remember the devil is defeated, stand your grounds in Christ and refuse to give Satan no place in your thoughts.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Thank for your faithfulness. I Also thank You that Your word for my life is already written and my victory in Christ is guaranteed in Jesus name. Amen
