Another meaning for the word fellowship is companion. That is someone that accompanies you wherever you go. As we desire God’s fellowship with us, He (The Holy Spirit) acts as a map guiding us and helping us to walk the path of righteousness predestined and fore-ordained by God Almighty for us to walk in.
How will you like to enjoy God Almighty acting as our navigating system helping us to get to our destination as we desire fellowship with Him with the help of the Holy Spirit?
I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now. But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].” John 16:12-13 AMP
Fellowship with the Holy Spirit brings us to the place of divine guidance from Jesus Christ through the Person of the Holy Spirit.
