We know that we have passed over out of death into Life by the fact that we love the brethren (our fellow Christians). He who does not love abides (remains, is held and kept continually) in [spiritual] death. Anyone who hates (abominates, detests) his brother [in Christ] is [at heart] a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding (persevering) within him.” 1 John 3:14-15 AMP
One of the ways we maintain our fellowship with the Holy Spirit is to walk in love towards our brethren. Love and hate does not go together. Walking in love releases the presence of the Holy Spirit to affect us and the life of others.
God’s presence in our lives is manifested in love. Walking out of love, that is to say hating your fellow brethren, is a sign that we don’t cherish The Holy Spirit fellowship in our lives. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of love.
God dwells in us in love, not hate, for He fellowship with us in love.
Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.” John 14:23 AMP
It’s about time we practice loving one another as we fellowship with the brethren in order to manifest God’s presence in our lives.
Let’s pray together:
Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. Help me by Your Spirit to always walk in love towards all men in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
