The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (so be it).” 2 Corinthians 13:14 AMP
In fellowship The Holy Spirit helps to partake in our inheritance with Christ. The bible says “a heir as long as He is a child is not different from a servant.”
The duty of the Holy Spirit in fellowship is to mature us to qualify for our inheritance with Christ. For example a Father and his children that are still teenagers, the Father maybe very rich and has lots of brand new cars. It will be a stupid thing to give one of his new cars to a ten year old to drive it without first making sure the ten year old is grown up and have his or her driving licence that qualifies him or her to drive a car. So is the Holy Spirit helping us to take hold and manage the things God Almighty has given to us through Jesus Christ.
And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.” Romans 8:17 AMP
The above scripture does not work automatically without the help of the Holy Spirit maturing us to share in the inheritance in Christ Jesus by conforming us to the image of Christ.
