I have not gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed and treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:12 AMP
That word esteem means to have respect and affection for something. In this case we see how Job highly esteems God’s word more than his carnal desires. The reason why God’s word is not making impact on some people’s lives is due to the value they place on it. For you to attract God’s presence in your life. You must learn to value his word.
I shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.” Joshua 1:8 AMP
God Almighty Himself commanded us to treasure His word and meditate on it. Success is in valuing God’s word not your carnal appetite.
