Neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:27 KJV

Anxiety is born out of the thoughts we are entertaining. Now even the most Holy saints have strange thoughts  sometimes.  Every thought not put into practice dies unborn. For example you can’t have control over who rings your door bell on a daily base. But you can have control or choose to let the door bell ringer in or out.

The fact that someone rings your bell, does not give the person the right to come in without your permission. So is the same with the thoughts we permit in our mind. Thoughts can free us or hold us captive based on which thought we choose to entertain.

That’s why God Almighty gave His word for us to mirror our thoughts with. So refuse to entertain any thought, which is not in line with God’s word, in the name of Jesus.

Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.” Philippians 4:8-9 MSG

God tells us in His word from our above scripture how to think and what to entertain in our mind to avoid the spirit of anxiety from taking us over in the name of Jesus.

So in dealing with anxiety we must make sure what rules our mind is God’s word and nothing else.  If you are dealing with a challenge, look for scriptures pertaining to your challenge. Meditate on those scriptures and practice them. Before you know it the spirit of anxiety will leave you in the name of Jesus. This is how to deal with it. Today start putting in practice what you’ve read and you will definitely see results in Jesus’ name.

Let’s pray together

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word. Help me stand firm against satanic wiles in the name of Jesus. Today I refuse to let satan in through the thoughts that come in my mind in Jesus name. Amen.
