Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my [sad] countenance, and my God.” Psalm 43:5 AMP

Many times we as believer in Christ act rebelliously towards authority or maybe one another as a result of a hurting situation experienced in our past. So we think the only way to be on save side, or prevent the situation from reoccurring again, is to rebel against authority or one another. It doesn’t matter what kind of authority or the person, we react against out of hurt in us. Rebellion is Rebellion.  Sometimes you see christians or people insulting authority figures placed in their lives or having no respect for authority because of their past experience in that area. So they slander authority figures or slander one another, not knowing they’re silently opening themselves up to witchcraft activities to take place in their lives.  A great example is Job. He was angry because of His circumstances and spoke rebelliously towards God.

Even today is my complaint rebellious and bitter; my stroke is heavier than my groaning. Oh, that I knew where I might find Him, that I might come even to His seat!” Job 23:2-3 AMP

Many churches have split because of someone that was hurting and the person ends up slandering the authority figures in the church by polluting others with the hurt they’re carrying.

Now God Almighty wants to heal us from our wounds or else it will pollute our entire being and at the end will destroy us. We should examine ourselves and admit that we are hurting. We should not hide it anymore. Then ask God Almighty to heal us. It maybe a little hurt, but this little hurt can hinder us at the peak of our lives from moving forward and might end up destroying us and the fruit of our labours.

For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says the Lord, because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no one seeks after and for whom no one cares!” Jeremiah 30:17 AMP

God Almighty so much care about our well being and He takes pleasure in our prosperity. That is spiritually, mentally and emotionally and also materially. In other words He wants us to be healthy in these areas.

Let’s pray together;

Heavenly Father I thank You for Your word. I repent for sinning against you by rebellion against authority figures  (—— call the names of them that hurt you). Forgive me for my sins. Heal me from my wounds for I am hurting even as I have forgiven those who wronged me. I bind the spirit of bitterness and hate and Let the river of God’s love overwhelm my heart in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
