I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” John‬ ‭15:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is not every trial that is from the devil. Some trials come to our lives to bring correction so that we can bear much fruits or bear fruits of righteousness.

A great example was Jonah, please, before you read any further open your bible and read Jonah 1-3. When he found himself in the belly of a wale then he learned to obey God. Some of the situations we find ourselves in maybe due to our own rebellion towards God and His Word. Hence God permit persecution to come to us to bring correction.

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.” Hebrews‬ ‭12:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We must train our mind not to faint when we are chastised of the Lord. Due to the fact that God chastises is to produce peaceable fruits of righteousness.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Help me by Your Spirit to endure when I am chastised by You in Jesus name. Amen
