ALL THE commandments which I command you this day you shall be watchful to do, that you may live and multiply and go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers. And you shall [earnestly] remember all the way which the Lord your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and to prove you, to know what was in your [mind and] heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. And He humbled you and allowed you to hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you recognize and personally know that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭8:1-3‬ ‭AMPC‬

When God took the children of Israel out of Egypt. It was not by might not by power. It was by the very word of God. Egypt here is a type of the world or bondage. We were delivered from the world by solely
trusting in Jesus Christ.

God Almighty always want us to remember how we were delivered so that our faith should not stand in nothing else irrespective of all the circumstances or challenges in our lives but in the very Word and the
Power of God.

And my language and my message were not set forth in persuasive (enticing and plausible) words of wisdom, but they were in demonstration of the [Holy] Spirit and power [a proof by the Spirit and power of God, operating on me and stirring in the minds of my hearers the most holy emotions and thus persuading them], So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:4-5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Today focus on Jesus Christ. Look unto Him and put your confidence in His Word and nothing else.
