And He permitted no one to accompany Him except Peter and James and John the brother of James.” Mark 5:37 AMP
No one can do God’s will without being intimate with Him. From the beginning of creation when first Adam sin man lost his intimacy with God Almighty and that’s why Jesus came to restore that so that man can now be closer and be one with the God whom the first Adam separated himself from because of sin.
When we’re are intimate with God Almighty, He will reveal Himself in a unique way to us. But for us to experience the benefits of intimacy, we must separate ourselves from all distractions that tries to steal our heart from His presence.
Jesus Christ our Lord demonstrate to us through our above text that intimacy means setting yourself apart with God Alone.
Six days after this, Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves. And He was transfigured before them and became resplendent with divine brightness.” Mark 9:2 AMP
We see Jesus revealing who He really was to the inner cycle whom He set apart unto Himself. He revealed His glory to them
We can’t see God for who He really is without intimacy. For example husband and wife knows the nakedness of each other in intimacy. And they do this in the private and not in the open.
God Almighty is missing us in the private and is now calling us for intimacy in Jesus Christ mighty name.
