But Noah found grace (favor) in the eyes of the Lord.” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
The Bible says “Noah found grace in the sight of God” and as a result of this God entered into covenant with Noah to save his entire family from the flood that destroyed the earth in the days of Noah. Please read Genesis chapter 6.
For behold, I, even I, will bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy and make putrid all flesh under the heavens in which are the breath and spirit of life; everything that is on the land shall die. But I will establish My covenant (promise, pledge) with you, and you shall come into the ark–you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.” Genesis‬ ‭6:17-18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
The ark in this text is a type of Jesus Christ who saves mankind from eternal destruction in exchange of His life for ours.
We as believers in Christ also have found grace in God’s sight the day we receive Jesus because He is grace and truth. So by receiving Christ we also obtained grace and we are in covenant with God in Christ as well. In other words we can also believe God for our families to be saved just as He (God) did to Noah and his family and so shall it be.
The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
Today trust God to save your family knowing He is the only One Who has the power and ability to save your family .
Let’s pray together:
Heavenly Father,
I thank You for Your Word. You said you will that none should perish but all should turn to repentance. I call upon the spirit of conviction of sin and repentance over my family and release salvation in Jesus name. Amen
