Why, O Jacob, do you say, and declare, O Israel, My way and my lot are hidden from the Lord, and my right is passed over without regard from my God? Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding. He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]. [II Cor. 12:9.] Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted; But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. [Heb. 12:1-3.]” Isaiah‬ ‭40:27-31‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

God is always willing to make His ways known to His Children as they wait on Him.

As we wait on God; He flushes out of our lives every waste, refreshes, empowers, removes fatigue, causes us to saw higher on eagle wings and causes us govern the affairs of life base on our heavenly perspectives and not earthly perspectives. That is why eagles soar higher in the sky as the engage in battle against their enemies.

Waiting shift our attention from us to God,expecting His Almightiness to move on our behalf. This is the reason why we must learn to set affection on the things above. The Word of God Admonishes us to do so.

IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. [Ps. 110:1.] And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.” Colossians‬ ‭3:1-2‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The character of an eagle as they soar high in the sky reminds us of our now and governing position in Christ. This is the reason why waiting is good because it takes your eyes off the natural and sets it into the supernatural where you are seated together with Christ in heavenly places.

May God cause you to see yourself as God sees you in the realm of spirit and also causes you to function in authority and power of Him as you wait.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father thank You for Your Word. Thanks for renewing my strength and causing me to soar in my Your elements in me by Your Spirit as I wait on You in Jesus name. Amen
