“THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. [Ps. 110:1.]”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Many are distracted because they are more focus on their circumstances. The enemy uses our circumstances to distract us from fulfilling God’s plan and purpose for our life.

Jesus Christ fulfill His mandate on earth because He refuse to distract Himself . He knew why He came and also what He has been commissioned to do. That is why He endured such a contraction against Himself for the sake of the Joy that was set before Him.

“For I have come down from heaven not to do My own will and purpose but to do the will and purpose of Him Who sent Me. And this is the will of Him Who sent Me, that I should not lose any of all that He has given Me, but that I should give new life and raise [them all] up at the last day.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:38-39‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Jesus Christ was so focused in a such a way that He defined His purpose when He came on earth without which none of us would have been save.

“Hence, when He [Christ] entered into the world, He said, Sacrifices and offerings You have not desired, but instead You have made ready a body for Me [to offer]; In burnt offerings and sin offerings You have taken no delight. Then I said, Behold, here I am, coming to do Your will, O God–[to fulfill] what is written of Me in the volume of the Book. [Ps. 40:6-8.]”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:5-7‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

We cannot afford to be distracted in this last days. We can’t allow our temporary situation to cause us to make a permanent situation. We can’t quit right now, they lay ahead of us a crown of life. We should all remember God can never lie or fail concerning His promises for our lives.

“God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭23:19‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Don’t be distracted stay focus for God’s promises are His open doors set before you in Jesus name.

Don’t be distracted!

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father thank You for Your Word. I arrest every spirit of distraction around my life and loose spiritual alertness. Thank You Lord for causing me to stay focus irrespective of my challenges in Jesus name. Amen
