THE WORD that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: Hear the words of this covenant or solemn pledge, and speak to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Say to them, Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Cursed is the man who does not heed the words of this covenant or solemn pledge Which I commanded your fathers at the time that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Listen to My voice and do according to all that I command you. So will you be My people, and I will be your God, That I may perform the oath which I swore to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. That is why Jesus died and rose from dead so all who believe in Him may have an abundance life or a life of full supply in all things due to the blessings of covenant in Christ sealed with the blood of Jesus.
Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified); [Deut. 21:23.] To the end that through [their receiving] Christ Jesus, the blessing [promised] to Abraham might come upon the Gentiles, so that we through faith might [all] receive [the realization of] the promise of the [Holy] Spirit.”

These blessings came to us through obedience and curse was destroyed. Now in order for us to experience the blessings of the new covenant in Christ we must choose to be disciples of Christ and live as obedient children in His sight.
Obedience set in motion the manifestation of the blessings of the covenant and disobedience open us to a curse. Remember we are not curse, but we can open ourselves to it by being disobedient and walking in unbelief and fear.
Like the sparrow in her wandering, like the swallow in her flying, so the causeless curse does not alight. [Num. 23:8.]”

It is for this reason that God said to the children of Israelite they should not curse themselves by being disobedience to the terms of the covenant.
I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live And may love the Lord your God, obey His voice, and cling to Him. For He is your life and the length of your days, that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
