Jabez was honorable above his brothers; but his mother named him Jabez [sorrow maker], saying, Because I bore him in pain. Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me! And God granted his request.”
‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭4:9-10‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The hand of God with Jabez is a symbol of God’s authority and power over his life. Without God’s authority and power we can’t prevail over the works of Satan.

God has giving to us authority over Satan and his cohorts. God wants us to use it.

Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:19‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Instead of complaining which is the opposite of faith, it’s time for us to exercise our authority and also refuse every illegal work of Satan around us.

We only grow from being children into sonship by constantly exercising our authority over the wiles of Satan.

But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name–[Isa. 56:5.]”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father thank You for Your Word. I refuse to accept every illegal mandate of Satan over my life. I rebuke Satan and his cohorts over my (e.g finances, put what you will) in Jesus name. Amen
