Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMPC

We are not thanking God for everything or what the devil is doing, but we are thanking Him in everything because He is faithful and will make sure what He has promised to us irrespective of satanic agenda will come into manifestations.

And when they had struck them with many blows, they threw them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely. He, having received [so strict a] charge, put them into the inner prison (the dungeon) and fastened their feet in the stocks. But about midnight, as Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the [other] prisoners were listening to them,” Acts 16:23-25 AMPC

Praise brings you in the victory that is already yours. Paul and Silas praised God knowing that even in their situation God will hasten His word to perform.

Take your eyes off your circumstances and set your eyes on God and His word. Begin to praise and thank God that His word is ever true in Jesus name. Hallelujah
