All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 NLT

One of the reasons why we don’t praise God is because we forget or don’t remember that we are blessed and what Christ is done for us already. The psalmist said:

BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits– Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]! [Isa. 40:31.]” Psalm 103:1‭-‬5 AMPC

He said forget not His benefits. Thank God that we are save. But  salvation brought a lot of benefits to us.

God wants us to sit back and meditate on the benefits of knowing Jesus as our Lord and saviour and also the benefits of being United with Him and also as joint heirs with Him. The psalmist went ahead to list some of the benefits.

Today join the psalmist to praise God in Jesus name.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word. Thanks for expressing your goodness and mercy to and my household on daily basis in Jesus name. Amen
