So Jesus answered them by saying, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the Son is able to do nothing of Himself (of His own accord); but He is able to do only what He sees the Father doing, for whatever the Father does is what the Son does in the same way [in His turn]. The Father dearly loves the Son and discloses to (shows) Him everything that He Himself does. And He will disclose to Him (let Him see) greater things yet than these, so that you may marvel and be full of wonder and astonishment.” John 5:19-20 AMP

All that Jesus knew and acted and said on earth was accomplished as a result of Him spending time with God. We all want to be Jesus or be like Him. But Jesus Christ could only be who He says He is because of His oneness with God Almighty in all things.  He was so intimate with the Father in such a way that all what He does and says comes as a result of seeing the Father do the same. That’s why He said”…If you have seen me then you’ve seen the Father also”. This bold statement was born out of His intimate union with the Father.

Whereupon Jesus called out as He taught in the temple [porches], Do you know Me, and do you know where I am from? I have not come on My own authority and of My own accord and as self-appointed, but the One Who sent Me is true (real, genuine, steadfast); and Him you do not know! I know Him [Myself] because I come from His [very] presence, and it was He [personally] Who sent Me.”John 7:28-29 AMP

Jesus spoke with such authority and power because His words was the words of God the Father. He also said ” I know Him because I come from His very presence.”

It’s time to desire to know God Almighty for ourselves.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word. Help me know You for Who You are and help see just the way You are in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
