BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits– Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]! The Bible says “….. and forget not…all His benefits..”

When the enemy wants you not to secure God’s blessings for your life, he causes you to forget what you must remember and to remember what God wants you to forget. God is not the one that reminds you of you past circumstances or your challenges the duty of God Almighty is to help you remember what He says to you in His word that’s why He gave us the Holy Spirit

But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.” John‬ ‭14:26‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

What you remember about God’s word will determine how you will react in your circumstances to secure or walk in the blessing God has already given you.

That’s why is important to always remember what He did for you in the past so that you faith in Him will be stirred up for your present challenges.

Most of the time our inability to praise and worship God effectively, is due to the fact we don’t remember what He had done for us in the past and also what He has promise to do in and through us in His word.

We should not give any room for the devil in our thoughts because our thoughts shape our present and future.

However, God Almighty always wants us to remember and forget not His word spoken to us. That’s how we overcome every storm the enemy brings our way and also this is the way of living and walking in total victory and absolute dominion over all the powers of darkness.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Help me by Your Spirit to secure Your blessings in my life by causing me to remember and forget not all the benefits of salvation in Christ in Jesus name. Amen
