Bible Study Plan 2019
Today we read:
-Food for thought day 341-
• 1 Corinthians 9:22-23
• Galatians 6:1-3
There is always a high tendency for you to judge people before really looking at the cause of their fall. God’s love will always cover the weak and consider their wellbeing first. People are important to God; the way you handle people in their moments of weakness makes them or breaks them.
“To the weak (wanting in discernment) I have become weak (wanting in discernment) that I might win the weak and overscrupulous. I have [in short] become all things to all men, that I might by all means (at all costs and in any and every way) save some [by winning them to faith in Jesus Christ]. And I do this for the sake of the good news (the Gospel), in order that I may become a participator in it and share in its [blessings along with you].”
1 Corinthians 9:22-23 AMPC
God’s treasure on earth is people, and our duty is making sure the weaker brother in the faith is build up and restored if he falls. So that we and the weak or the one we’re reaching out for Christ, makes it to heaven at the end.
The Word of God says:
Dear brothers, if a Christian is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help him back onto the right path, remembering that next time it might be one of you who is in the wrong. Share each other’s troubles and problems, and so obey our Lord’s command. If anyone thinks he is too great to stoop to this, he is fooling himself. He is really a nobody.
Galatians 6:1-3 TLB
Our job is to restore and not to go and make the situation worse. Love covers a multitude of sins. That is why Paul by the Holy Spirit said: ”l become all things for all men that I may win some for Christ.” His target was to win people for Christ and not to push them away from Him.
That is how God expects us to handle people and those who don’t know Jesus.
Remember: God’s love will always win people for Christ.
Continue to win people for Christ!
Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
Think and act!!!!!
