Bible Study Plan 2019

Today we read:
Proverbs 10-15

God’s ways are always true because He stays committed and faithful to His covenant (His Word).

“What then? If some did not believe or were unfaithful [to God], their lack of belief will not nullify and make invalid the faithfulness of God and His word, will it? Certainly not! Let God be found true [as He will be], though every person be found a liar, just as it is written [in Scripture], “THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED [by sinful men].”

When the Bible says: “… let God be found true….”. That means God’s Word will abide forever, eventhough people’s character and things happening in the world system may change.

His Word, that is what He says and who He is and that will never change (Matthew 24:35).

We are the product of His Word. That is why it is expected of God through the help of the Holy Spirit that we stay true to who we are and not become like the world.

God’s Word can’t be separated from His nature, which is Love. Knowing we are a product of God, means our nature is love and not hate.

“for you have been born again [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] not of seed which is perishable but [from that which is] imperishable and immortal, that is, through the living and everlasting word of God.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:23‬ ‭AMP‬‬

We must fight against the world system of dealing with people and refuse to be subdued by the prince of this age.

The Word of God says: “Do not love the world [of sin that opposes God and His precepts], nor the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust and sensual craving of the flesh and the lust and longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of life [pretentious confidence in one’s resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father, but are from the world. The world is passing away, and with it its lusts [the shameful pursuits and ungodly longings]; but the one who does the will of God and carries out His purposes lives forever.”

It’s due to the invisible force acting in this world that is causing the love of many to grow cold. Therefore, we must always remember though we live in this world, we are not of this world. We are here to serve God’s purpose by letting the light of God’s love in us shine in this world. This world which is full of selfishness, ego, and wickedness.

Therefore, the only way to make the difference in this world is to stay true to your nature and Master Jesus Christ.

Remember: staying true to your nature (Love) means being committed and faithful to what you believe irrespective of the world system or people’s behavior.
