Psalms 119

The reason why people sometimes try to get you offended through their actions, lies and false accusations is because they want you to be like them. The target of Satan for using these people is that you will function in his confusion and miss the purpose for which God created you.

That is why the Word of God says: “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”

People that bring offenses in your life are already confused and lack self-control and above all God’s love is not dominating them. This is one of the reasons why Satan was cast out of the presence of God.

Whenever the enemy throws stones at you, he is after your heart and mind and his target is to make you act like him. For this reason, we must learn to always guard our hearts by hiding God’s Word in it (Proverbs 4:23) so that we will not sin against God (Psalms 119:11).

We win by functioning from God’s angle of love and not from selfishness like the devil himself.

Refuse to allow people to change you; be unmovable irrespective of what may come your way.

Remember: walking in God’s love, having power and a sound mind goes together.

Act like a child of Love and don’t be selfish like the devil!
